An Encouraging scripture to meditate on before I get busy...

(2 Peter 3:9 KJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

I'll try to find some more patterns for you tomorrow if I can. But tonight I have some things that must be done...

Today has been a little long, and tiring

And I am still not done with everything I needed to get done in the kitchen. I wish I could just get everything done faster.

I am going to try to at least finish up the cabinet and floor so I can get started on a laundry bag I wanted to get made today, But first I think I will drink a cup of tea.

I'll have my daughter take a picture of the afagan I am working on in a little while and I'll get that posted. Then when I get the laundry bag made I'll post a picture of that. I am thinking I'll add a few crochet flowers to the laundry bag so it will be a little different.

I'm going to draw out a picture of what I'm thinking then if it looks ok, I think I'll go ahead with that tonight. Especially as it is likely I won't get a lot done tomorrow as I have a relative coming to visit who loves to tell me how everything I do is wrong. I probably should not of said that but it's true and this relative just does not know any better than act in the way she does so I just have to bite my tongue and not say anything to hurt their feelings reguardless of how they make me feel...

Well, we won't dwell on the negatives in life we will look into just making some crochet flowers in a little bit to decorate a laundry bag. I have some pink yarn that will make some pretty flowers, now I just need to look at the cloth I have and see what I have that will match pink.

Of course I'll need to wash, and dry the material I have and iron it, but after that I think it should be pretty easy going. At least I hope so.

Well I'm nearly finished with my tea so I guess I need to get to looking for some material to match the yarn I have, so I can get that done soon...

A motivational quote to help you get started today...

An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.

So it's 8 am and no one is up...

I need to get everyone up so we can get some things done today. I need to get some cleaning done, and try to get a clothespin bag made, I am thinking of adding crochet flowers to the finished bag.
I should have that done later today. I'll try to post a picture when it's finished.

I don't have to babysit today so I should be able to get a lot more done today. The boys have a good bit of school work to get done today, but since their dad is home maybe he will be able to help them some while I finish up on a few things.

The shelves in the rolling cabinets are finally fixed, so I will be able to get things put away neatly. I also need to clean the refrigerator.

Well I won't get nothing done today if I don't hurry.

But before I go I wanted to post a couple of links to free crochet patterns online, so I'll do that, then get started with everything else...

Well now I need to get busy and get people in here up...it is raining here today and everyone wants to sleep...

I found a bunch more free patterns but I'll just post three free pattern links tonight as it is getting late, and I don't want to overwhelm anyone.

There are so many pretty things that can be made using a crochet needle and a little yarn...

So many ideas, so many things to make, so little time to do anything...

A couple of old photo's of items I have made.

A Pink Baby Afagan.

I love pink and made one just like this for me. lol
I did sell this one to a friend locally who said she really liked it. She wanted it for her granddaughter.
Pink is one of my favorite colors, I need to make another one just like this one.
But currently I am working on one that will be soft-white.

This is a blue kitchen potholder set, I made this to sell, and sold it to a friend of my husband. His friend bought this for his wife as she collects dolls of all kinds, and likes the color blue.
The potholders are usable because they are made out of cotton yarn and double thick. The Indian doll face is just a decoration though.
I am planning to make several of these to sell in Nov.

This is a set of plain yellow and white potholders. These are good for every day use, and people really seem to like these, I need to get more of these made.

In different colors. I have a picture of a round set also.

Here's a picture of the round one's I had made a good while back.
These potholders also make very good hot pads, for hot pots or pans fresh out of the oven.

I have made a lot of different things at times, but failed to take many pictures so I will just have to start taking more pictures so you all can see some of the things I have made.
